THE HISTORY OF THE PASINO IN LE HAVRE

The Pasino or former stock exchange palace built by Otello Zavaroni in 1957 is located between the Bassin du Commerce and the Place Jules Ferry.

The building is characterised by large colonnades supporting a 30-metre span roof terrace to the north and south.

In 2006, this symbolic building, classified by UNESCO, became a Casino. The restoration of the building respects the original design, both inside and out, where frescoes by Nicolas Untersteller and Paul Lemagny, as well as furniture by Jean Royère, have been preserved.
