World Poker Tour returns to France with Texapoker

WPT is back in France ! The mythical franchise will make a stop in France from 2023 in partnership with Texapoker.

As previously mentioned, Texapoker is proud to announce the signing of a two-year partnership with the famous American franchise World Poker Tour. In addition to the packages offered and the satellites, this partnership means the return of WPT tournaments in France.

Thus, 3 stages of the WPT Prime with its €1,100 Main Event will take place per year in France and Italy in 2023 and 2024, co-organised by Texapoker. The Sanremo Casino in Italy, the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence and the Club Circus in Paris will host these events.

The 2023 WPT Prime dates in France and Italy:
*January 22 to February 5 at Club Circus Paris
*June 5 to 11 at the Casino de Sanremo
*August 1st to 6th at the Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence

The online satellites to participate in these live WPTs will take place on PMU.fr. More information on these online satellites will be given very soon.

Gifted WPT packages

As part of the partnership with the WPT, and just after the announcement of the upcoming French Poker Championship, each winner of the 4 main tournaments of the Championship will leave with a WPT package worth $12,000 including $10,400 buy-in + $1,600 fee to play in the WPT World Championship at the Wynn in Las Vegas in December 2023 (a festival with $15 million guaranteed). These packages will be donated by Texapoker and the Pasino Grand and added to future tournament prize pools.
